DLS & ELS – DYNAMIC LIGHT SCATTERING AND ELECTROPHORETIC LIGHT SCATTERING

Category:

Description

Dynamic light scattering (DLS) measures the hydrodynamic radius of proteins, aggregates, nanoparticles, vesicles, and more. The NanoStar® uses standard microcuvette format and the DynaPro® Plate Reader high-throughput microwell plates.

The Mobius measures electrophoretic light scattering (ELS) and DLS simultaneously to determine zeta potential or molecular charge, automated by an autosampler or manually, under a wide range of solvents.

DynaPro Plate Reader III

High-throughput, automated dynamic light scattering.

The DynaPro Plate Reader III provides unparalleled levels of productivity and flexibility for the most demanding nanoparticle sizing and protein aggregation tasks such as biotherapeutic formulation, screening of promiscuous inhibitors, and optimization of protein crystallization conditions. Measurements are performed in situ with no fluid transfer. Select from industry-standard 96-, 384- or 1536-microwell plates.

More than just another dynamic light scattering instrument.

Unique Cuvette Based DLS

The DynaPro® NanoStar® is a unique cuvette-based DLS instrument used for the analysis of proteins, promiscuous inhibitors, micelles, quantum dots, liposomes, metallic nanoparticles and more. To accommodate scarce and precious samples, specially designed quartz cuvettes afford robust, accurate measurements with as little as 1 µL of solution, while our proprietary disposable cuvettes provide comparable sensitivity with as little as 4 µL!

Compatible with DYNAMICS

The NanoStar is accompanied by DYNAMICS, our powerful software package for analyzing batch dynamic light scattering measurements. The Security Pack (DYNAMICS SP) option provides 21 CFR (11) compliance for GMP/GLP use.
